Our Story
The idea for RealEstate Talk began in 2017, when founder Dilip Apte found himself selling a property in the United Kingdom with almost no practical digital infrastructure to support him. Existing portals offered listings but no community. General social media offered reach but no real estate context. The ability to manage a sale, engage directly with buyers, and communicate transparently — all in one place — simply did not exist.

Dilip brought to this challenge a career spanning nearly three decades in IT consultancy and project management — with deep expertise in automation, analytics, and cloud computing. He was also a seasoned property investor with experience across both India and the United Kingdom. The combination made the gap in the market impossible to ignore.
The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 sharpened the vision further. As household incomes contracted and families sought more direct, affordable ways to sell and rent properties, the case for a community-driven, cost-efficient property platform became undeniable. RealEstate Talk was built to be that platform.
